Mera Sanjog is a Sikh community app built to carry long-standing Panthic practices into the digital age, not to replace them. It keeps daily Sikhi, Sangat, and institution-led introductions at the centre of the experience, so families can stay rooted in Gurmat while using modern tools.

Who we are

Mera Sanjog (also referred to as “Mera‑Sanjog”) is developed by Sikh community members who are active in Gurdwara life, seva, and Panthic organising. The app has been shaped in collaboration with Sikh organisations that have supported families for decades, including Sikh Missionary College (India) and Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Surrey BC, Canada. The focus is on building technology that serves the Sangat and respects Sikh Rehat and tradition.

What Mera Sanjog offers

Mera Sanjog begins each day with Sikh content, not profiles. Users can:

• Read the daily Hukamnama from Sri Darbar Sahib.

• Access the Sikh Rehat Maryada in full, anytime.

• Follow moments from Sikh history each morning.

• Find nearby Gurdwaras, kirtan, Gurbani programs, langar, and seva opportunities wherever they are in the world.

The Sangat tab highlights partner Sikh organisations and Gurdwaras, their upcoming programmes, and clear ways to take part, keeping local and global Sangat connected.

Introductions through Sikh institutions

For families exploring Anand Karaj, Mera Sanjog supports introductions only through trusted Sikh institutions:

• Your Gurdwara or Sikh organisation verifies you in person.

• They may recommend a family to you in the app.

• A conversation opens only when both sides agree.

There is no browsing, no searching, and no scrolling through profiles. Mera Sanjog does not suggest anyone on its own. You will only ever see a family your organisation has recommended, and you can pause introductions at any time while continuing to use all the community and Sikhi features.

This approach honours the way Sikh institutions have arranged introductions for generations and ensures the app remains a community platform, not a dating or member‑discovery service.

Mera Sanjog is guided by a few clear principles:

• Sangat first – Daily Sikhi, Gurdwara connection, and seva are central, not an add‑on.

• Respect for Rehat Maryada and Anand Karaj as a sacred commitment.

• Institution‑led trust – introductions originate from Gurdwaras and registered Sikh organisations, not algorithms.

• Safety and dignity – conversations begin only with mutual consent, and users retain control over introductions and their profiles.
